What we collect when you visit, and what happens to it.
Information we collect
You don’t need an account to read anything here, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from visitors.
What we do process:
- Usage analytics. Aggregate, non-identifying statistics — page views, referring sources, approximate country, device type. Used to work out which articles are worth keeping.
- Outbound link clicks. When you click an affiliate link we record that a click happened, as an aggregate count. Not linked to you.
- Email. Write to editor@vitalreviewhub.com and we get your address and your message. We keep it only as long as it takes to reply.
Cookies
This site uses cookies and similar local storage for three things:
- Preferences — remembering whether you chose light or dark mode. Stored in your browser, not sent to us.
- Analytics — measuring aggregate traffic patterns.
- Affiliate tracking — when you click an affiliate link, the seller may set a cookie so a resulting purchase is credited to this site. That cookie belongs to the seller’s domain, not ours, and their privacy policy governs it.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser whenever you like. Blocking affiliate cookies doesn’t stop you buying anything. It just means the seller won’t know this site sent you.
Third parties
Hosting, analytics and advertising are handled by third-party providers. They may process technical data such as your IP address and user agent while serving requests.
Advertising: where third-party ads appear, the ad provider may use cookies. You can opt out of personalised advertising through your regional ad-settings portal — Google’s Ads Settings, or the Digital Advertising Alliance / EDAA opt-out tools.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Since we hold almost no personal data, most requests will come back empty. Email editor@vitalreviewhub.com to make one and we’ll respond within the period applicable law requires.
Retention and security
Analytics data is kept in aggregate. Contact emails are deleted once the query is answered. We apply reasonable technical measures to anything we hold, though no internet transmission is perfectly secure.
Children
This site isn’t aimed at children and we don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we’ll update the date at the top.
